Networld Hotel Manila SM
The Networld Hotel in Manila is a very popular place to stay if you are looking for a hotel during your stay in the Philippines. This hotel is so convenient because it is located virtually in the middle of everything. You don’t have to go far to get to the most popular destinations at this hotel.
The hotel will pick you up from the airport but you might have to wait more than an hour, even for a planned pick up. The hotel is not as grand as they make it out to be in their advertisements. It is a nice place to stay but it is not first class by any means.
Paco Park was supposed to be a cemetery for the aristocratic Spanish families, but only three Filipino martyr priests are buried here; Mario Gomez, Jose Burgos, and Jacinto Zamora, who were executed by the Spanish in the late 1800’s. Paco park was a central ammunition and supply depot during World War II for the Japanese defending against the Americans.
This park has huge thick adobe walls encircling it. There are several trenches surrounding the park, and interior adobe walls as well. Inside of Paco Park, the St. Pancratius Chapel was built, where weddings and receptions are held for couples who want a garden like setting.
