If you want to take your children somewhere while you are in the Philippines, you might want to check out the Museo Pambata. This museum is designed for children and is not your typical museum where everything is behind glass and you cannot touch it.

The Museo Pambata is a museum that allows children to touch the exhibits and teaches them about each exhibit while they interact physically with them.

Children can go through exhibits like a simulated rainforest, where old Spanish clothing and ride the Spanish Galleon, walk through a miniature cathedral and see children from around the world. Children can play and learn at this museum and it is a lot of fun.

Manila Light Rail Transit System

If you are traveling around and through Manila, chances are good you will end up on the Manila Light Rail Transit System, also known as the LRT.  The LRT provides excellent transportation around the city in almost every direction or place you need to go.  Today, you don’t have to pay with tokens anymore. 

If you plan on riding the LRT a lot, you can get a Flash Pass, which allows for quick payment and access to the railways.  Almost all of the bus routes can take you to an LRT station if you are not near one. 

This makes it convenient for anyone needing transportation to hop on the train.  The trains are not the most comfortable, but they are quick and very inexpensive to use.
